Royal Assent

As my Bill received Royal Assent yesterday, it was an honour to be named "Campaigner of the Week" in our weekly Parliamentary Magazine, The House.

Brexit Update

I campaigned for, and voted to leave the EU in a once in a generation vote. We were promised - whether we voted to Leave or to Remain - that our decision would be implemented.

Herald Column: March 21st

This week I am not going to mention Brexit other than to say that the continuing shambles prevented me from meeting up with student scientists from the Sir Robert Woodard Academy who were invited to a prestigious event at the Francis Crick Institute in London.

NFU #takethelead Campaign

Really important event at Findon Valley, near Cissbury Ring to highlight the NFU campaign of livestock worrying. We need dog owners and dog walkers to be much more vigilant and responsible by keeping their dogs on a lead in areas with a considerable livestock presence.
