I very much welcome the Chancellor's announcement of a new discount rail card for 26-30 year olds, meaning 33% off rail fares, helping to keep the cost of living down for around 4.5 million more people, which will hopefully launch in spring 2018.

As you will be aware, ASLEF drivers on Southern and Gatwick Express have voted to end their dispute with GTR on Driver Controlled Operation. The turnout from the ballot was 87%, with 79% voting in favour.
