Sikyong visit to Parliament

As Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Tibet Society I was honoured to host a visit by the Sikyong, the President of the Tibet Parliament in exile where he gave MPs an update about the activities of the Dali Lama and human rights abuses by the Chinese authorities.

FACT: Animals are sentient

No, MPs did not vote that animals aren't sentient. A few mischief makers are out on social media claiming Conservatives voted against animals being sentient.

Lancing Beach Green Vandalism

I have been contacted by a number of residents understandably worried about this new spate of vandalism. Last month at least 10 beach huts were vandalised and in one case the gas supply to a cooker deliberately left on next to matches.
