I visited the Co-op store in Broadwater on 16 November to demonstrate my support for Respect for Shopworkers Week.
During my visit to the store on Cricketers Parade, I discussed local community safety issues with store staff and heard about the Co-op’s operational programme to help tackle
In-between all that there was quite a grilling from 400 students at Worthing High School for their inaugural Question Time event where I was invited to be on the panel along with Chief Inspector Miles Ockwell, Councillor Becky Cooper and of course the head himself, Pan Panayiotou.
The common observation from all the Remembrance Day commemorations held locally and nationally was that the crowds had never been bigger and it was particularly uplifting to see so many young people turn out.
Great to attend South & Mid Sussex NSPCC AGM meeting where the local Lancing branch once again had fund raised the most over the course of the year. Congratulations to all involved!
It was a unique way to end Remembrance Sunday when I was invited to attend the Sussex Bangladeshi Caterers Association Chef of the Year Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner at the Assembly Hall in Worthing and present an award.

The chances of successfully steering a Private Member's Bill through all its labyrinthine Parliamentary stages are usually quite slim, and MPs usually keep it simple sticking to one main theme to bring about a change in the law.
