UK Southern Book Show

I'd like to make you aware of an important new book show taking place in Worthing on March 4th. The UK Southern Book Show is the first major book show to be held in the south (i.e. south of London).

Yellowhammer species champion

I was delighted to be appointed Yellowhammer species champion by RSPB. My new role involves working with local residents, in particular our farming community, to see what we can do to help increase number of Yellowhammers around the South Downs.

Grove Lodge Roundabout

I paid a visit to the Grove Lodge Roundabout with local councillor, Louise Murphy, who has been reporting the potholes on local roads, but has been increasingly frustrated with the lack of repairs being carried out on main roads, like the Grove Lodge Roundabout, by Highways England.

I was delighted to welcome to Parliament couples and campaigners supporting my Private Member’s Bill to create equal civil partnerships. This is a core part of my Bill and will correct an inequality inadvertently created by the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013.

Re-dedication of Lancing British Legion

I was also pleased to attend a service at St James the Less in North Lancing to mark the Laying up and Dedication of the British Legion Standards for Lancing Branch.
