Weekly look ahead: 16th April

My weekly video, again dominated by Coronavirus. I discuss the fantastic local volunteering schemes, the positive changes to the Job Retention Scheme eligibility and my discussions with care home providers regarding PPE levels and many other issues.

We’ve also had the news that Parafix (from Lancing) have produced 100,000 face shields for the NHS and worked over the Easter weekend to achieve this. An unbelievable effort from everyone involved - thank you.

Sussex Air Ambulance funding appeal

Whilst I would have hoped for a different result politically, congratulations to all the councillors elected in Adur and Worthing last week. There are big changes afoot as Labour takes over control in Adur for the first time in 24 years and Lancing Parish now has no overall control.
