Tim Loughton MP (East Worthing and Shoreham) took part in drop-in cake decorating competition in Houses of Parliament hosted by Maltesers and Sainsbury’s, who partnered together with Comic Relief to support Red Nose Day's ‘Bake a Difference’.
MPs and Peers were asked to decorate a cupcakes, with the one offering the most creative design being named the Red Nose Day baking champion.
Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace took on the role of judge as more than 60 parliamentarians of all parties competed to win first place in the Maltesers and Sainsbury’s Red Nose Day Parliamentary ‘Bake a Million’ competition.
Ian Murray MP (Lab, Edinburgh South) emerged triumphant from the closely-fought contest, with Ian Paisley MP (DUP, North Antrim) in second place.

"It was great to see so much support for Comic Relief from MPs and peers in Parliament this week. It was great fun taking part and I was very proud of my design, which I think we can all agree was a masterpiece.
"Red Nose Days events are always fun but also importantly raise millions of pounds for worthwhile projects at home and around the world."
