The 'Treaty of Le Touquet' is an agreement between France and the UK that has been in place since 2003 and governs border control arrangements and immigration, and effectively establishes our borders in Calais.
The French could get rid of this Treaty at any time before or after a referendum, it would not be a direct consequence of Brexit if that were to happen.
The two things - the EU and the Treaty of Le Touqet - are just not linked. So let's concentrate on the facts and let's have a rational debate about what should happen.
