National Highways has now closed its consultation on improvements to the A27 at Worthing and Lancing. Thank you to everyone who responded to the consultation.
I will now go back to National Highways, along with Sir Peter Bottomley MP, to ensure they take into account the objections people have raised.
This consultation was not on the major improvements that we need on the A27. There is work going on separately on the large scale changes that we need, such as the tunnel proposals from Transport for the South East. However, if we can get improvements to junctions where hold ups often occur that will be real progress.
