I voted in favour of a motion in Parliament to give 1950's WASPI women better transitional arrangements. Whilst the motion was passed, I am afraid, it is not a binding motion on the Government. However it does keep the pressure on and the issue alive.
It was a great shame that the SNP were more interested in using it to score political points rather than help to build a consensus. This is not a party political issue, we all need to work together. There are supporters from all parties and the SNP should stop generalising and work with us to make a difference.
