On Saturday a letter, signed by 38 senior representatives of f40 authorities, was sent to the Prime Minister, with a copy to the Secretary of State for Education.
f40 represents a group of the lowest funded education authorities in England where government-set cash allocations for primary and secondary pupils are the lowest in the country.
The letter outlines f40’s concerns about the government’s proposals for the funding of schools in England and our worries that the formula being proposed seems to be weighted more towards maintaining stability than achieving fairness.
